At Ralia Realty, we believe spaces should inspire, connect, and elevate. That’s why we’re excited to welcome Ashley Nelson as our new Artistic Director. While this role may seem unconventional in real estate, it perfectly aligns with our mission to create meaningful, purpose-driven environments.

Ashley brings a unique vision to Ralia, and her role will be to curate spaces that are not just beautiful but transformative. Her approach prioritizes atmosphere, energy, and emotional resonance—ensuring every project becomes a living, breathing experience that enhances lives and fosters connection.

A colourful professional journey

Ashley’s journey is anything but conventional—it’s a vibrant tapestry woven from art, music, neuroscience, design, and holistic experience creation. A true multidisciplinary artist and visionary, she has spent her career crafting immersive spaces that awaken the senses, ignite creativity, and foster human connection.

Her path began in the world of special effects for film, television, and events, where she designed environments, costumes, and prosthetics. She then transitioned into experiential marketing, curating large-scale immersive experiences for Cirque du Soleil, the Missouri Botanical Gardens, and the Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

Her passion for transformative spaces led her to the field of permaculture, where she restored biodiversity in depleted landscapes, created ecospaces for public engagement, and educated communities on ecosystem repair. She later opened Opale Space - a private wellness center and art oasis in Montreal for expressive arts therapies, sound journeys, and creative workshops.

A lifelong student of human potential, Ashley has explored neuroscience, mythology, biophilic design, social and computational arts, and clinical hypnotherapy. She’s pioneered unique vocal classes, therapeutic music productions, and creative rewiring workshops that blend sound, wellness, and sensory exploration. Most recently, she’s been applying her expertise in frequency awareness to wearable art, curating creative wellness programs at music festivals, and volunteering in palliative care centers.

What to Expect This Year at Ralia Realty

Ralia will unveil exciting projects like pop-up art galleries in our spaces featuring amazing local artists, a mural and art expo in collaboration with local community organizations . We’ll unveil our whimsical biophilic wellness rooms of our Human Design Hotel, launch Art Play workshops that help reconnect our leaders with their creative potential and Biology of Wonder workshops that reconnect us with age old wisdom in crafting our own home remedies, skin care products and more. Each project is designed to spark a sense of Play & Creativity as we remember ourselves as stewards of the Earth, Protectors or Life and the Artists of our Future.
